Trauma-focused therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
A structured therapy that can help the mind process distressing experiences and reduce their emotional intensity.

About this service
A supportive way to move forward.
After a distressing or traumatic experience, memories can sometimes continue to feel immediate and overwhelming. You may experience intrusive images, strong emotions, physical sensations or reactions that seem difficult to control, even when the event is in the past.
EMDR uses carefully paced bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, alternating taps or sounds, alongside established therapeutic techniques. The aim is to support the brain's natural processing system so that a memory can become less disturbing and feel more firmly located in the past.
Jindy is an EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant with additional training in attachment-informed EMDR, addictions, parts work, intergenerational trauma, dreams and the Flash Technique.
