About
Jindy Johal BSc, MA
An experienced and accredited therapist, I ground my work in compassion, curiosity and respect for your individual experience.

My approach
A thoughtful space, centred on you.
I am a BACP Senior Accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and an EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant based in Leicester.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. Our sessions offer a confidential space where you can speak openly, make sense of what is happening and explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
My work is warm and collaborative. I will not judge or tell you what to do; I will listen carefully, offer reflection and work at a pace that feels manageable for you.

My professional practice beyond the therapy room.
I am a published author and have featured in the Counselling and Psychotherapy Research Journal.
I also introduced Break-Thru, a child play therapy programme in Leicester and Leicestershire, and have delivered mental health talks in schools and training for social service professionals.
How I work
Warmth, care and clinical experience.
I balance professionalism with warmth and acceptance, drawing on extensive training to create a trusting and confidential space.
I receive regular supervision and continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional training.
